Reinforced Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (RAAC)
The majority of Bromley’s schools are Academies and as such they are responsible for their own buildings, working directly to DfE. Currently, we have been informed that none of Bromley’s schools are affected by the closure decisions made by DfE regarding Reinforced Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (RAAC). Information and guidance has been issues by DfE.
Supporting Ukraine school admission advice
Bromley Council’s school admissions team are available to assist families with securing school places for their children as quickly as possible. The school admissions team can help answer your enquiries on which schools may have available spaces, how to apply, what year group your child is in and other enquiries you may have via Ukraine.Education@bromley.gov.uk.
You can apply for a school place using the application forms:
Application for secondary school aged children (11-16 years old)
Application for primary school aged children (4-11 years old)
Alternatively these forms can be collected from main reception at Bromley Civic Centre (Monday- Friday 08.30-1700).
If you have a child in a Bromley school who is affected by the crisis, please talk to your child’s teachers about any concerns you have and support you would like the school to provide.
