Bromley Register Office holds the records of births, deaths, marriages and civil partnerships that occurred in the London Borough of Bromley from 1837 to the present day.
We can only accept orders for events that took place in Bromley.
Queen Mary’s Hospital Sidcup is not in the London Borough of Bromley. If the event occurred at Queen Mary’s Hospital you should apply to Bexley council.
Making an application
Ordering your certificate with us is easy. Simply complete the form and have your credit or debit card details ready to pay online using our secure payment facility.
Certificates are £12.50 each, and this includes second class post. We endeavour to dispatch certificates within 15 working days from date order placed.
Bromley Register Office is moving, and we will be unable to deal with 24-hour or 1-hour express orders from 11 December 2024 until 6 January 2025. If you need to obtain a certificate urgently during this time, please contact the General Register Office certificate service. We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause.
