Pruning and maintenance

We conduct a programme of tree condition surveys and annual tree safety inspections on all our street trees to identify and undertake any required works.

Between these surveys we aim to inspect all enquiries regarding issues with specifically identified trees and raise any necessary works within 10 working days.

Tree reports are investigated to ascertain any work requirements only for reasons of health and safety or pruning where an obstruction of the highway is present.

We will not undertake works solely for aesthetic reasons.

Please allow up to six weeks for remedial works to be undertaken. Lower priority issues will be added our ongoing pruning programme to be scheduled for works within the following three months.

Planting

Where requests for new or replacement trees are received we will add the location to our future tree planting database for consideration in future planting seasons.
