BHCCA is a small local charity that operates the following services/activities:
The Day Centre for older people is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays and provides a friendly and sociable environment with professional care staff. The Centre helps to support those who are experiencing physical disability, isolation, frailty, early stage dementia and carers needing respite from their caring role.
The Lunch Club meets on Wednesdays and is for older people to enjoy a three course meal cooked on the premises and who would like to enjoy the company of others.
The Art Group meets on Wednesday afternoons and is for anyone interested in painting or drawing. It is very informal and is for any level from beginners. No expert tuition is given but other members can often offer advice.
BHCCA hires St. Marks Centre for these activities, Church Road, Biggin Hill, TN16 3LB
Assisted Shopping takes place on a Thursday morning and is for Biggin Hill residents who live independently but who need help and support with their food shopping. Transport can be provided within Biggin Hill.
