- The organisation benefits active retirees who wish to join a monthly social meeting, usually with a speaker, and to partake in outings, holidays, social afternoons, canasta, quizzes, theatre outings, meals out and to generally enjoy themselves by meeting like-minded retirees. We have increased our membership to a maximum of 150, at present there is no waiting list. However, if the 150 is reached, prospective members can be signed in monthly as guests at a monthly charge of 2 pounds until there is a vacancy. At present our annual subscription is 15 pounds and that includes tea/coffee and a biscuit at the meeting.
