Freedom pass application review process
If your application is refused and you believe that the decision did not take into account all the factors you may request a review within the time limit of 28 days from the date of rejection. We aim to process reviews within 6 - 8 weeks.
A review must be requested in writing and sent to Freedom Passes, Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley, BR1 3UH. The request must set out the reasons why you believe that the decision is not consistent with the criteria or where additional factors have not been taken into consideration.
An occupational therapist or manager will then undertake a review and either confirm the decision or refer the matter back for reassessment if there are issues that have not been fully considered.
We will confirm in writing the results of the review. This decision is final and there is no further appeal. Applicants may reapply after six months, (or earlier if mobility has deteriorated significantly or circumstances have changed).
