- JENNER, Emmett - United Kingdon Independence Party - 153 votes
- PAYNE, Michael Lionel - British National Party - 35 votes
- PRASHAR, Anuja - Liberal Democrats - 490 votes
David Barrington Jefferys was duly elected to represent the Shortlands ward.
