Every Health and Wellbeing board (HWB) has a statutory responsibility to update their Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA) every three years. The PNA is used to help the NHS and local authority decide on applications for new pharmacies, and applications for changes at existing pharmacies. Bromley Council has assessed the needs of pharmaceutical services for the local population in 2022 and in the next three years.
The Regulations (2013) require the HWB consult on their draft PNA for a minimum 60-day period. This consultation, with feedback from residents, aims to review the findings of the draft PNA on the current services and identify any gaps or improvements that need to be made to the final PNA.
The draft report has been produced by looking at the health needs of the population, the current pharmacy network and its services, and public views on current services. It has drawn on research material and has been advised by a stakeholder group that looked at different aspects of pharmacy services.
Take this opportunity to give us your views on this research and the conclusions and recommendations drawn from it. Our survey will take approximately six minutes to complete. For a copy of the draft PNA document or to provide feedback directly please email: pna@healthydialogues.co.uk
