Bromley Council is committed to tackling homelessness and rough sleeping across our borough. We have drafted a homelessness and rough sleeping strategy 2025 to 2030.

This strategy outlines our approach to preventing and addressing homelessness, aiming to ensure that residents in Bromley can access the support they need. Through partnership working, we strive to reduce rough sleeping and improve access to suitable and affordable housing.

Our key priorities

The proposed strategy focuses on five key priorities:

  1. Early intervention and prevention of homelessness
  2. The right support at the right time for adults, young people, and children
  3. Providing suitable and affordable housing for eligible households
  4. Reducing rough sleeping and ending repeat homelessness
  5. Reducing the number of households in temporary accommodation
