Thank you for applications that we have received so far. The deadline for the next round of applications will be 31 December 2024 for Beckenham Town and Copers Cope, Bickley and Sundridge, Biggin Hill and Chelsfield wards, where funds remain from the original £1million allocation approved in February 2022.

Final round for applications

As approved in November 2024, the Platinum Jubilee Fund will be reopened on 13 January for a final round, subject to funding being available. Applications are invited from all wards, including applicants that have previously received a grant, with a limit of £20k per application per site. The deadline for applications is 10 March 2025.

Please note, applicants must be able to evidence that their match funding contribution is in place at the time of submission. The contributions required are £100 for applications for £3K and below and £500 for applications over £3K.

Please see the ‘How to apply’ section for more details.

We were delighted as part of HM the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations to be able to unveil £1 million to contribute towards community led projects that improve our green spaces.

If you have a community led project in mind for a park or open space, we would love to hear about it.

Please note that the nature of each individual successful proposal will determine whether the council awards the funding to the applicant directly or spends it on its behalf.
