We have identified an issue with the earthing within the lighting unit on the above cabinets. Under extreme circumstances, an earthing failure could cause the cabinet to become live, possibly leading to serious injury. This could potentially affect stock sold between September 2002 and January 2008
Since identifying the issue, we have taken every action towards rectifying this. We have written to all customers in our records who have purchased one of the above cabinets and have been sending qualified engineers to customers' premises to replace the lighting section of the cabinet, free of charge.
If you have purchased any of the above cabinets between the above dates and have not been contacted by Bathstore, as a precautionary measure please stop using the lighting unit and contact us, either by emailing recall@bathstore.com or by calling us on 0800 019 0237 (line open 24hrs).
