PRODUCT RECALL OF AQUAFRESH MILK TEETH TOOTHPASTE (0-3 YEARS)
BATCH BN 388G
IMPORTANT MESSAGE TO CONSUMERS AND RETAILERS
GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare (GSK) is taking the precautionary measure of recalling a single batch of its Aquafresh Milk Teeth toothpaste (0-3 years) Batch BN 388G. No other Aquafresh children's or adult toothpastes are affected.
This follows GSK's discovery that a small number of tubes in this batch contain varying amounts of a different toothpaste formulation. This formulation has a strong flavour and is a red/mauve colour unlike Aquafresh Milk Teeth toothpaste which is white in colour.
The small number of affected tubes of toothpaste may pose a low risk because the formulation contains herbal ingredients (namely Echinacea, Chamomile and Myrrh) and the ingredient Linalool, which could cause an allergic reaction in a very small proportion of children.
WHAT YOU SHOULD DO:
If you have a tube of Aquafresh Milk Teeth toothpaste (0-3 years) in your home or shop please check for Batch BN 388G. The Batch Code is on the crimp at the base of the tube and on the end of the carton.
If so, please call the freephone number below and a refund voucher will be provided.
If the Batch Code of your tube is NOT BN 388G then you do not need to take any action.
