Product recall
IKEA recalls for repair a limited number of oven wire shelves IKEA kindly asks customers who have a DÅTID, NUTID or FRAMTID oven with production date 1134-1150 (yyww) to contact IKEA on 0207 660 1517 to receive a replacement wire shelf/shelves free of charge.
The wire shelf/shelves provided is not wide enough and can fall down during oven usage presenting a risk of burn injuries. IKEA has received no reports of injuries but has decided to precautionary recall the wire shelves since safe products are always our top priority. The oven trays fit correctly and are not affected by the recall.
Only ovens with production dates 1134-1150 (yyww) and specific article numbers are affected. The production date and article number can be found on a label inside the oven close to the front, when the door is opened. If the production date is in range 1134-1150 (yyww) and the article number is found in above table, customers are asked to stop using the wire shelf/shelves and contact IKEA on 0207 660 1517 to receive a replacement wire shelf/shelves free of charge.
No other ovens or wire shelves are affected.
