Important product recall
Toni & Guy TGIR1921UK 38mm Jumbo Tongs

Batch Code: 1613 & 2623
HOT (UK) Ltd. who manufacture the Toni&Guy 38MM Jumbo Tongs, have discovered a potential safety issue with the above product. They've found that in some cases, the handle of the product can separate and the power cord may become detached. Please note this potential issue only affects batch code 1613 and 2613 from June 2013 onwards.
To help you see if your Tongs are affected, you can find the batch code stamped into the handle close to the supply cord entry. If you have an affected product please stop using it immediately and contact HOT (UK) Ltd. on their helpline or email address noted below. If you've bought this for someone else would you please let them know about this as soon as possible.
If your Jumbo Tongs aren't from the affected batch please be reassured that your product is unaffected and is safe for use.
Alternatively, you can return the Jumbo Tongs to your nearest Boots store for an exchange or refund.
