Poundworld Retail Ltd. has identified the above product sold at its Poundworld and Bargain Buys stores and through its Discount Wholesale website as counterfeit and as such, there is a potential safety issue. This product, falsely branded as Bussmann, is not up to the required safety standards and presents a possible danger to property or serious injury. Customer safety and satisfaction are of paramount importance to us therefore we have issued this product recall.
Distinctive Poundworld packaging of counterfeit product:
If out of the packaging, this product can be identified by the falsely branded Bussmann mark and these distinctive markings. The circles show the distinctive markings used to identify the counterfeit Poundworld product.
What should I do if I have purchased one of these items?
Please stop using the product immediately and return the item to any Poundworld store - our stores will issue you with a refund or exchange.
If you have purchased this product for anyone else then please inform him or her of this recall and they can also return the product as above.
No genuine Bussmann products sold through Bussmann authorised distributors are affected by this notice.
No other Poundworld product is affected by this notice - we apologise sincerely for any inconvenience caused and thank our customers for their co-operation.
Poundworld has since sourced genuine Bussmann fuses. These can be recognised as a pack of 10 assorted fuses with the following product code SAMIXAMPF10PK30.
