Lidl Ireland has withdrawn a batch of its Alesto Roasted and Salted Peanuts as the label is not in English. This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to peanut and/or nuts. Distribution is to Northern Ireland only.

Our advice to consumers

Action taken by the company
Lidl Ireland is withdrawing the above product from customers and has been advised to contact the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the withdrawal. The company has also issued a point-of-sale notice to its customers.
