The following notice has been issued by the Food Standards Agency:
Tesco is recalling a batch of its Oriental Kitchen Chicken Chow Mein product because it was incorrectly packed with Tesco Chicken Curry and therefore contains egg, milk, mustard and sesame, which are not mentioned on the label. This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to egg and/or milk or milk constituents, and/or an allergy to mustard or sesame.

Our advice to consumers
If you have bought any of the above products and have an allergy or intolerance to egg and/or milk or milk constituents, and/or an allergy to mustard or sesame, do not eat it. Instead return it to the nearest Tesco store from where it was bought for a full refund. No receipt is required.
Action taken by the company
Tesco is recalling the above product from customers and will be contacting the relevant allergy support organisations, which tell their members about the recall. The company has also displayed a point-of-sale notice in its stores.
