Product description
Soft-filled frog figure plush toy wearing a red sweater and a satchel over shoulder.
Hazard
The product presents a high risk of choking as the button on satchel and foam inside detached at forces <90 N, producing small parts which fit into a small parts cylinder. A young child may put a small part in its mouth and the parents may not notice in time, so the small part can block the child's airways. The product also presents a risk of strangulation as the satchel around the frog can be completely removed, creating a fixed loop of more than the 380 mm limit.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Toys (Safety) Regulations 2011.
Corrective action
OPSS is requiring the recall of the product from end users. The listing has been removed by the online marketplace (AliExpress).
