Product description
A 330 ml plastic pot with an orange lid and wraparound label. Containing white cream.
Hazard
The product presents a serious chemical risk as, following analysis, the cream was found to contain 3.9% w/w hydroquinone, which is not permitted to be used in cosmetics. Hydroquinone is a skin sensitiser and may cause allergic contact dermatitis.
The product does not meet the requirements of Regulation 1223/2009 or the Cosmetic Product Regulations 2013.
Corrective action
The product has been withdrawn from the market.
