Product description
Various Toshiba branded AC adapters with DC-in plug used to charge laptops. Please note, this is an expansion of the recall announced in 2018, with additional models now identified as being affected by the hazard. Customers who previously checked and determined that their AC adapter was not affected by the June 2018 recall must now re-check their AC adapter

It has been identified that the laptop AC adapters can overheat and spark, presenting a risk of fire and burns.

The affected products do not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.

Corrective action
The products have been recalled from end users.

Consumers are advised to check their AC adapter's part number and if affected, they should turn off the laptop and unplug the AC adapter immediately.
