The product presents a high risk of both electric shock and injuries as the connections made to the switch were encroaching on the terminals, potentially causing the product to start unexpectedly.
If the product were to start unexpectedly when the user is preparing the wood, they may receive injuries as the blade could come into contact with body parts. Additionally, accessible metal parts may become live, causing the user to receive an electric shock.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008.
