Hazard
The product presents a serious risk of injuries as the height adjustment feature on the steering column includes two locking compartments that may fail to stop the column dropping during use. This may therefore present a potential fall hazard to the user, resulting in injuries. The product also does not come with the appropriate instructions for use when folding and unfolding the scooter, which may also pose a risk of injuries to the user.
The product may also pose a risk of asphyxiation as the plastic bag containing the top part of the steering column could be placed fully over a young child's head.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Toys (Safety) Regulations 2011
Corrective action
The import has been rejected at the border.
