Hazard
The product presents a serious risk of fire as the plug pins are incorrectly sized and do not fit in the plastic sleeving. This can cause the pins to wear down unevenly over time or become damaged during use. Damaged or worn pins can overheat and catch fire. Improvements are also required to marking and labelling.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 or the Plugs and Sockets etc (Safety) Regulations 1994.
Corrective action
The import has been rejected at the border and destroyed.
