- Residential site – Mobile homes and caravans which are on site permanently and are owner-occupied or tenanted.
- Private Residential Gypsy site – Mobile homes and caravans which are on site permanently and are privately owned or tenanted by gypsy/travellers.
- Touring site – Touring caravans, tents and campervans which are brought on site on a temporary basis by members of the public.
