Bromley trading standards checked, the council’s secure trader approval scheme, continues to gain new local trusted traders and they are now available for hire.
Now that autumn is here, residents are likely to need work done in the home, particularly with gas and heating as well as other domestic services. Trading standards checked is here to help find an accredited trader to tackle various home maintenance works this autumn.
Councillor Angela Page, Executive Councillor for Public Protection and Enforcement, said: “I am proud of our trader approval scheme. We are continuing to receive applications from traders of different disciplines. The recruitment process involves rigorous vetting and safety checks, so residents can be confident they are dealing with qualified and reliable traders. If you need work done in the home this autumn, we encourage you to consider hiring a trader through trading standards checked.”
The fair trader directory helps to connect residents with safe and trustworthy traders and reduces the threat of rogue traders.
Trading standards checked supports legitimate Bromley businesses with accreditation across a number of criteria; more traders are continually encouraged to apply for accreditation to prove that they have residents’ best interests at heart.
