A new Executive Councillor has been appointed this evening, who will lead the Council’s Environment Portfolio.
Leader of the Council, Councillor Colin Smith, has appointed Councillor Will Rowlands as the new Executive Councillor for Environment.
Cllr Rowlands’ promotion to the Executive follows news of Cllr Aisha Cuthbert’s decision to resign her own Executive position to enable her to devote more time on other challenges.
Councillor Rowlands, who is a ward councillor for Mottingham , had hitherto served as the Chairman of the Council’s Environment and Community Services PDS Committee.
