The Hill car park in Bromley is now open, following structural propping works on the ground, first and second floors.
The recent closure of the car park was due to safety reasons following a condition survey in October. Structural props have been put in place to retain the integrity of the car park, making it safe for continued use.
Councillor Nicholas Bennett JP, Executive Member for Transport, Highways and Road Safety says "I am delighted the Hill is back in use, just in time for the final six days of Christmas shopping. Thank you to all retailers and shoppers for your understanding whilst we made the car park safe and fit for use."
Throughout the closure of The Hill car park, both the Station Road car park and the Civic Centre multistorey car park in Stockwell Close have remained open and continue to be so, with local on-street car parking also available.
Residents are reminded that the car park is operated by APCOA with payment for parking processed by RingGo. For more information, please visit https://www.bromley.gov.uk/parking
