A one day youth event on stress and anxiety from Bromley Youth Council is being held on Saturday 10 February.

Young people aged 11 to 19 in Bromley are invited to stop by the event from 11am to 4pm at The Unit A3:4 on the veranda (near Wagamama's) at The Glades, Bromley where a number of free activities will be available to take part in to help build resilience and manage stress and anxiety, all delivered by Bromley Youth Council members, Bromley Y and the Bromley Youth Support Programme.

Activities will include candle and stress-ball making, t-shirt printing, advice workshops to help develop social and emotional skills, mindfulness and relaxation activities.

Over 800 of Bromley’s young people voted on stress, anxiety, and mental health as one of the key areas for Bromley Youth Council to address in their manifesto of actions to take in 2023/24. This youth mental health matters event will help raise awareness of these issues and allow young people to informally meet with professionals, explore new activities and workshops, and destigmatise being open with mental health issues.
