Residents are invited to take advantage of free blood pressure and pulse checks delivered by Bromley Public Health and partners this autumn as part of Know Your Numbers Week.
No booking required! Find the most convenient location and date between 2 to 8 and 17 to 20 September 2024 and just walk-in to get a free blood pressure and pulse check from Bromley’s award-winning team.
Blood pressure and pulse checks only take a few minutes, delivering peace of mind or identifying if steps are needed and where to find support to get your blood pressure or pulse back to a healthy level.
High blood pressure or an irregular heartbeat can be signs of a health condition or complication that needs to be checked and treated.
Councillor Diane Smith, Executive Councillor for Adult Health and Care said, “I urge residents to take a short while out of their busy days to get their blood pressure and pulse checked by our award-winning team of health staff, partners, and volunteers at one of these convenient locations in your neighbourhood. Leave with peace of mind, information on the support you need, and knowledge on how to do these checks yourself.”
Pressure station locations will be available across the borough on various days through September, beginning on 2 September 2024 with two stations at Cranley Parade in Mottingham and at Bromley United Reform Church.
