Children and young people can take part in holiday club places this Easter with the Holiday, Activities and Food Programme (HAF), a series of events organised by Bromley Council and its partners.
Our HAF Easter holiday programme will run from Monday 7 to Friday 18 April 2025 (excluding weekends). Parents and carers can book places for their family for events ranging from physical and sporting challenges to arts, crafts, theatre, science-based workshops, and learning life skills in nature.
Councillor Kate Lymer, Executive Councillor for Children, Education and Families said, “The HAF programme makes a huge difference for young people in the borough, providing physical and creative activities in safe spaces where they can feel empowered to learn, socialise and grow together while also being provided with nutritious meals each day. HAF is an initiative that helps to strengthen our local community and supports families through the holidays, so be sure to book your places to get your family involved.”
Free places are available for eligible young people aged 5 to 16 who are in receipt of benefit related free school meals, with all programmes providing:
- Free, nutritious meals each day.
- Fun, physical and creative activity sessions.
- A wide range of exciting activities to suit different ages and personalities.
- Opportunities to learn more about food and nutrition for children and their families.
Holiday clubs cater for children with low-medium levels of SEN and/or disability and children will be considered by each club on a case-by-case basis. Please ask the clubs directly about the support they offer.
This diverse range of events has been designed to meet the local interests and needs of families in the borough. It will help children and young people to eat more healthily, be more active over the school holidays, take part in engaging and enriching activities, be safe and not socially isolated, have greater knowledge of health and nutrition, and to be more engaged with school and other local services.
Bookings are now open. To book your activities, simply browse our Holiday Activities and Food programme schedule directory and contact your chosen providers.
