By giving unwanted furniture, clothes, phones and computers to charities and other organisations, you will be helping the environment, saving money and benefiting the community.

You can take shoes, clothes and textiles to one of our recycling centres. Charity shops in the area are always looking for good quality clothes, bric a brac, books and homeware. Alternatively, why not pass on clothes and toys to friends and neighbours or post on local sites such as Freegle, Freecycle or Facebook.

A number of organisations in the area will collect electronics and furniture from your home. You can also recycle your mobile phones and accessories, batteries, small elecronic items in shops and collection points across the borough.
