EHCP co-ordinator allocations
Every school and educational setting has a designated EHC (Education, Health, and Care) co-ordinator responsible for the EHCPs (Education, Health, and Care Plans) of students and pupils attending there. The EHC co-ordinator's role includes the review, and support towards the setting for, the administration of the plan; whilst a separate team is responsible for new assessments. The work with colleagues including from advisory and outreach services, as well as Educational Psychology, and Attendance and Welfare, and so too Preparing for Adulthood professionals, to promote students’ educational progress and well-being.
