Transport for London (TFL) is responsible for managing and maintaining red routes across the borough.

Most red routes are clearly indicated by red lines and signs by the side of the road.  The red routes in Bromley run along the following routes:

  • A21 from the M25 to the Lewisham boundary at Bromley Hill
  • A232 from Locksbottom (Croydon Road) to the boundary with Croydon at West Wickham High Street.

The TFL website has further information about red routes including maps showing the locations of all the red routes across London. TFL are also responsible for street lighting, road and pavement maintenance and winter gritting on red routes. To report a street or road issue on a red route, please contact TFL.
