Suggesting your event

We include events according to who can attend, the organiser, location and regularity

Attendance, events which are:

• directly open to members of the public, or
• open to non-members of an organisation who can join on entry
• council and partnership events for business / professional purposes where the public can apply to attend.

Organised by: 

• the council
• partner organisations to the council
• charity and voluntary groups

Location:

• take place within LB Bromley
• close to LB Bromley (if performed by local groups or if resources permit)

Regularity 

• one-off events, or
• a short series 

We usually exclude events which are:

• regular evening classes or courses
• regular or annual meetings of local groups and societies unless it is a particular event that is open to the public or accepts open membership
• rely on sponsorship to take part (ie minimum amount required)
• weekly markets, auctions etc
• commercial events to promote a company or brand

Our directory of local organisations and advice services managed by Libraries  gives contact information for local organisations and includes brief details of regular meetings and activities.
