Searches may be made of the full range of resources held by the the local studies service; manuscripts, photographs, microfilm, books and objects.
Our basic enquiry service is free for information about what material we hold, what services we supply and simple research enquiries taking no longer than 15 minutes.
Depending on your request, you may be required to make a payment, if this information takes longer then 15 minutes. We will be in touch with you on how to do this if this is necessary. The charge is £25.00 per hour, with a maximum of two hours research.
There is no guarantee of any positive result but if that is the case we will try to advise you of other possible avenues to pursue.
We can research any detailed request concerning either family or local history in the area that since 1965 has comprised the London Borough of Bromley.
