Request application decision review

If your application is refused and you believe that the decision did not take into account all the factors affecting your mobility you may request a review within the time limit of 28 days from the date of rejection. We aim to process reviews within 6 - 8 weeks.

This review process only applies to those applicants assessed under the discretionary criteria for a blue badge.

A review must be requested in writing and emailed to bluebadges@liberata.com or sent by post to Blue Badges, Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley, BR1 3UH. The request must set out the reasons why you believe that the decision is not consistent with the criteria or where additional factors have not been taken into consideration.

A different occupational therapist will then undertake a review and either confirm the decision or refer the matter back for reassessment if there are issues that have not been fully considered.

 

We will confirm in writing the results of the review. This decision is final and there is no further appeal. Applicants may reapply for a Blue Badge after 6 months, (or earlier if mobility has deteriorated significantly).
