Licensing objectives
The local authority (acting as the Licensing Authority) must carry out its functions under the Act with a view to promoting the four prescribed licensing objectives of:

The prevention of crime and disorder

The protection of public safety

The prevention of public nuisance

The protection of children from harm
The local authority is unable to consider any other matter when deciding an application.
