Account terms and conditions
You are responsible for keeping your password secret and safe to prevent unauthorised access to your account. If you suspect that someone else has gained access to your account, you should reset your password as soon as possible.
Bromley Council will take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect against unauthorised or unlawful access to prevent processing of personal data and against any accidental loss or destruction of, or damage to, personal data.
Information regarding any payments is updated every day, however please allow up to three days for payments to be cleared and to be shown on any statements.
Bromley Council takes steps to ensure our website and any links are virus-free, however we would advise that all customers take their own precautions to ensure their computer is virus free.
While we strive to ensure access to our website is always available, we do sometimes need to carry out maintenance activities on some areas and access may not be available for short periods.
We normally provide information informing customers of the lack of access and ask them to try again later, however lack of access can also be down to your internet service provider, your connection or PC.
Unauthorised access to the service (to specific account detail level) contravenes the computer Misuse Act 1990 and may incur criminal penalties as well as damages. Please proceed only if you are the registered user of the account.
The Data Protection Act 2018 and the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) control how we use your personal information. This means we follow strict rules on how we record, use, share and store your data. To see our full statement and what this means please visit www.bromley.gov.uk/privacy
