Objecting to the sharing of your information via the London Care Record
You have the right to object to the council sharing your information in London Care Record.
If you do object, it will not stop you from receiving social care services or the council recording your information in its own social care information system, nor will it prevent the council from sharing your information directly with necessary health and social care organisations for the purposes of arranging the care and support that you have been assessed as requiring. However, it may impact efficiencies around the seamless delivery of multi-agency services for direct care purposes and may result in the need for you to have additional assessments by other organisations and share your information repeatedly.
If you have any queries about the sharing of your information in the London Care Record, please discuss your concerns with a member of our social care team using the contact details on this page.
If you wish to object to the council and other health agencies using your information to enable the sharing your adult social care information in this way you can apply directly by completing the individual rights request form and submitting it to lg.irr@nhs.net
