Giving notice of intention to marry/form a civil partnership is a legal requirement which you must both complete prior to your ceremony. It is vital you complete this process at the appropriate register office within the time limit or your ceremony cannot go ahead.
If details change such as address or occupation, there is nothing you need to do. You do not need to bring any documents to support those changes, you just need to confirm these details with the registrar at the pre-ceremony interview.
Register Offices all over the country will be very busy taking notices this autumn for couples that have not been able to give notice prior to lockdown.
